Laura Weldon
Laura has been teaching the Birth Village Class since 2013 and has worked actively as a birth doula in the Auburn-Opelika community since 2017. She also works as a birth assistant for a local licensed home birth midwife.
She wants to help the expectant parents of our community to have the information and skills they need to navigate their options, the birthing process, and the postpartum/newborn time.
She is a wife, mother, Bible class teacher, knitter/crocheter, language learner, hiker, pen-and-ink enthusiast, and writer, and she is guided by her faith as she navigates and birth work and life.
