We are doulas with a combined 19 years of experience. We live and work in the Opelika/Auburn area and are intimately acquainted with the birth options and environment here.
LAURA WELDON
Laura wants to help the expectant parents of our community to have the information and skills they need to navigate the birthing process and the postpartum/newborn time. She chose to train through Childbirth International because of their emphasis on evidence-based care and informed decision-making. She is a mother of three, and she is guided by her faith as she navigates marriage, parenting, and birth work.
SARAH DOYLE
Sarah sees childbirth education as the best way to prepare clients to have positive birth experiences and strong starts as parents. Sarah trained through Lamaze to help bring comprehensive, evidence-based information to the community and her doula clients. Outside the classroom Sarah can be found leading pre & postnatal yoga, spending time with her growing family, and enjoying the outdoors.
